  3. I'm sad to announce that the 2013 AWDC Challenge North West series is cancelled due to lack of entries Thanks to those that did show support.
  4. After to listening to everyone's comments, we have been working hard in the background to try and solve the problems. Unfortunately whilst we CAN move the sites, we CANNOT move the dates. We are simply unavailable on any other weekends. Bob Smith has made us the very generous offer of using Uplands Coppice again this year after he had decided to rest the site for most of it. So the partly revised calendar is 21th April New site near Wigan 16th June Mow Cop, Congleton 8th September Uplands Coppice 3rd November Yarwell, Nr Peterborough - for now but we are hopefully looking at a more local site asap and will move it if the site is suitable. We run these events on a voluntary basis, at our own expense for travel etc and up to now have enjoyed doing so, lets try and keep it that way. So we are listening and doing our best to change the things we can and to quote a phrase from the forum announcements last year We are northern so don't be picky

  9. Thanks to everyone, marshals, scrutineers and competitors fro making yesterdays event a great one. Great weather Great atmosphere Great competition Thanks to everyone who helped when Dan decided he needed a mud bath and all those who stayed back to make sure Barrie got back to the car park safely. Scores up soon - honest and looking forward to seeing you all at Llanfyllin in a months time
  10. Not sure, one of the marshals picked it up and is bringing it to the next event -have a look and see if its yours
  11. Reckon we've tracked down your Strop - ask for it at event control at the next round
  12. Just for accuracy I've amended No9 Johnathon Smith's punch score. My typo after staying up very late to enter all the results into a spreadsheet last night. It actually makes no difference to the results as the final score was correct. He scored 9 punches
  13. Thanks to all marshals and competitors for a fantastic weekend. My first time as Clerk of the Course! Prizewinners 1 Simon Lee & John PIckles 4482 pts 2 Allen Sharpe & Ben Turpie 3740 pts 3 Barrie Gee & Johnathon Wood 2895 pts Spirit of the event Kev Thomas/ Gus Ferguson Best Special Stage Gordon Conway & James Coghlan Full scores later when Boothy gets around to it - my fault I ended up with scoresheets instead of him
