  1. Thank you will try to trace the wire from the battery to the switch tomorrow morning. Really appreciate the advice.
  2. Please, please help! Defender CSW 110 W reg TD5 Okay i have lost all my headlights and rear lights other than main beam flash. I have replaced switch, tried bridging pink relay terminals with no joy. Multimeter shows 10v power to one terminal on switch but when I move the switch to side or dipped it shows no power on same terminal. the power to the switch plug is there, I have tried two new swithces and the same problem is still there so removed pink relay and tried bridging terminals 2 and 8 (i think?) still nothing. I tried multimeter to terminals on relay holder and got nothing! Can anyone give any advice or something I could try as cannot drive in the dark and need to get Defender back on the road. Thank you!
  3. Stupidly as entering the lion enclosure at Longleat today I hurriedly tried to put the sunroof back in which I had removed to get some good photos earlier. Broke one of the metal lugs on the sunroof whilst hurriedly putting it back in. Help can I get a replacement?
  4. Tried spraying with WD40 and gripping it and giving it a shove in and out. Whole defender rocks but no play in wastegate
  5. Hi all, I have just bought a TD5 2000 110 Defender, new to all of this. I felt a little judder under load up hill and had a look around and it seems to me it could be a stuck wastegate, I have had the heat shield off and tried to move it but it is stuck solid. Any ideas other than hitting it hard with a hammer!
