  2. Hi I have a (new to us) 2011 110 defender. It has a N tow socket fitted. I need to use an S socket to power the electric brakes on an American caravan. The S socket doesn't need to do anything else - eg reverse lights/ fridge. I have found a previous post which was helpful: https://forums.lr4x4.com/topic/87398-extra-cig-lighter-power-feed-in-rear/ I have been told by someone to wire it as following https://goo.gl/photos/TNNqURap5TzcCZKG6 Therefore I was thinking Find C1962 on the LR Hopefully here. https://www.landroverworkshop.com/connectors/defender-2002my/C1692 Buy connector from polevolt 3rd one down. http://www.polevolt.co.uk/acatalog/Mulitple_Connectors.html Buy non insulated crimps. Crimping pliers https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06XRBCS6N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_u4tWzbSVR4NM8 Buy thin wall wire, run in conduit, so that s socket has a live from the S socket to the purple wire in C1692 and a separate wire to the earth in C1692 from s socket. Then 2 wires, from s socket, and join together to meet brake lights. Perhaps ..... c0376 (or c1759 in 110(which it is)) but this looks a hard place to join two brake wires into. Is there a better location? Also I don't know which connectors to buy or where this connection is located. Hope u can tell me if I have the first bit right Help me with which brake connector to join, which connector to buy and where I might find it. Thank u
