  1. mine done the same it rely got on my nerves so i just changed the belt it only cost 8 pounds online, rely simpel to change too, all you do is jack the front driver side take the wheel off take the plastic side cover of its holded on by 3 bolts no need to take the under tray off, then get a spanner carnt remember wich size you put it on the tenasoner bolt and turn it clockwise to slacken the belt you gota hold it turned clockwise to get the belt off put the new one on while holding the bolt let the bolt go slowley job dun. they have automatic belt tensoners so no need to worrie about the tension. hope this helps
  2. sori im not the best speller lol and some times i do not look what i have wrote until after i have posted it lol again im sory, thanks for the help xx
  3. so how do you drain it and re fill it, or do you just keep toping it up??
  4. hear not of a freelander but you will know what im on about, i packed the left rubber seal with special cv joint grease, now am i righ by packing the other end of the shafts rubber seal with the same grease??? drive shaft
  5. i mean the rubber girders on the drive shaft theres 2 of them on each shaft one by the wheel and 1 the other end of the shaft closer to the gear box, cv boot seals i think there called, iv just relpaced them as they were starting to crack, the one closest to the wheel i know you put cv grease in, but when i took the one closest to the gear box off the rubber seal was filled with oil not grease, or mabi it use to be grease but has thinned down to a oil substance, i duno as im not sure what accutualy goes into this seal, the same thing happend on the other side, one closest to wheel was packed with black grease but the top one was full of oil again, im pritty shure you pack both ends with the black cv grease stuff, so i have just done this. im just wanting to know if i am right by doing this (putting same grases in both ends of the seals) just incase im wrong and the drive shafts pack in on a long jurny somewhere. any help would be much appriciated thanks
