Having got as much done as I wanted, flooring came for kitchen obviously they sent the wrong type so wasted time with that, little pump I use for gear oil broke so waiting for 90 second araldite rapid to go off....3 hours now, still a bit of time left after I get everything ready to go and collect mill tomorrow apologies if it sounds likely moaning, already beaten a few obsticals but they just keep coming, the joys of a tinkerer....lol Regards Stephen
  6. Brakes bled and nearly there possibly A tad more air in, clutch bled, heater to put on before I can fill coolant up Throttle cable and pedal fitted Still no indicators though.... Regards Stephen
  7. Sorting out all fluids today, indicators still to get working and heated windscreens, but no rush for them, need to be able to move Sid on Friday to get new to me mill in garage Regards Stephen

I know they are reasonably tall, so it will prove difficult installing it, probably the same as my Alfred Herbert drill, that had to be dismantled just to get through garage door, how difficult, time will tell, biggest issue is finding space for it....lol, have gone a bit crazy of late with tools Regards Stephen

Just to keep you guys updated Had great news at my consultation today whatever that was growing in my lung has stopped and is stable, they are not concerned anymore, so I'm now back on original schedule which involves 3 MRI scans over the next three years after that all being good I will be cancer free Regards one very happy Stephen
  13. The guy has loosened the head off to move it in his shed so it will be removed totally and put in the back of the pickup. The mill is a bit heavier than standard as it has a vertical bed on it to house up to 3 driving heads at the same time Regards Stephen

  19. A wee project this morning. Away to Wrexham on Thursday morning to pick up a bridgeport milling machine, hand winch on my trailer will not be man enough to drag nearly 2 tonnes so I've borrowed Sids front winch, but first a very quick mount out of 10mm plate Winch addition Now to wind rope on via car Sorted regards Stephen
  20. My neighbour just got back from a holiday down Devon way and brought me a t-shirt back for looking after the hens for a week he did say some of the t-shirts were a lot worse than this...... regards Stephen

Trying to suss this out, I take it the wire from the alternator goes to the light and then to the ignition via a fuse, I'm assuming the ignition connection will be live so the ignition light is illuminated when ignition turned on, what causes the light to go off once alternator is charging Regards Stephen

  24. Finally got Sid running today, new lift pump, return in a bucket and a bit of @muddy magic, all the water and carp out, ticking over and reving up nicely Regards Stephen
