  1. Sthil saw...........lol Sorry could'nt resist I guess you will need to look at aftermarket seats or go to an Auto breakers and see if there is anything suitably lower that could be adapted to fit Otherwise, cabriolet project would be nice to read about regards Stephen
  2. Skip divers, interesting term... Up here we are called skip rats........ A word of caution though...... Up here I am top rat.....everybody checks to make sure I'm not inside when chucking scrap into said skips........has the potential to be very painful......lol Regards Stephen
  3. Unfortunately I don't do Facebook and no intentions of joining, however I can see market place has it's used Nice spot..I really need light truck tyres due to Sid not being the massively heavy holocaust roach squasher we all thought he was going to be.......... Regards Stephen
  4. I have a small bench top blast cabinet, it does clean up small parts ok although it can get infuriating because blast debris can block the nozzles, in the cabinet and the gun, also if you get one rig up a Hoover to extract dust whilst your blasting, this will help with visibility Regards Stephen
  5. Ahhh you know me too well.... Guess I'm pretty predictable ...lol Regards Stephen
  6. I get that, but your already asking too much of it..... This was bought purely and simply to weld temporary patches on chutes or pipes that have worn through due to the abrasive material flowing through them It wins simply because you don't need to get a gen set on site and then have to run welding cables up 6 or 7 floors to be able to weld/stitch a patch on to stop product spillage. Two of three patches it will pay for itself due to less machine downtime, loss of product and associated cleaning up costs Regards Stephen
  7. Not mine I hasten to add, a new toy work has purchased, but I thought it would be of interest Its a SIP cordless battery welder does 3.2mm rods no problem. Ive been told it can do up to 20 of this size rod before needing recharged Not cheap mind, pretty sure I heard a figure of around £1500 However very handy to carry around at only 15kg Regards Stephen
  8. Am I being unfairly picked on.......fabrication...huh...a yoke around my neck.......lol Regards Stephen
  9. @vulcan bomber I have these if they are any good to you Regards Stephen

  11. I will have a look for some plate tomorrow @dangerous doug regards Stephen
  12. Standard thinners should be ok Regards Stephen
  13. Can you not add a load of thinners in, leave it a while and then start mixing the two I've had some success with this in the past Regards Stephen
  14. Err, the phrase " workmen and tools" springs to mind, but not the negative one @muzaz you drive the welder......... and if that's trying your best......it's more than good enough.. Regards Stephen
  15. Pretty sure I offered to make you a bonnet.........way back Although that was going to be a joint venture...if we didn't live so far apart........ Regards Stephen
  16. Ahhhh...... Why do I think I'm going to regret assisting people with some fabrication..........lol Regards Stephen
  17. Some very nice fabrication work there.. Regards Stephen
  18. Well this episode brings this thread to an end thats the fairlead finished, hopefully to @Gazzar's satisfaction I've painted it in a two in one primer top coat that is quite robust, although I'm sure it will get re-painted at some point...lol @Gazzar if you could pm me your address again I will post down this week I hope you like it as much as I've enjoyed making it Regards Stephen
  19. Engine mounts etc ok Regards Stephen
  20. Ahem.... I found this useful..... Regards Stephen
  21. Give @Hybrid_From_Hell a shout, he deals with them I think Regards Stephen
  22. I bought some for my mog diffs on Sid. Due to the modifications I had done I wanted an oil that would get into all the nooks and crannies. If you look on the differential section of the forum there is a video showing how Swepco oil climbs up a hand driven food whisk over competitors oils, the difference is unbelievable, this is why I paid the extra and have been very happy thus far Regards Stephen
