  2. Hi all, Been having a few probs with the brakes on my 110, m reg 300tdi, the brake pedal is all over the place, at first it is near the bottom, but the brakes work, but if i pump them then the pedal goes near to the top, my local chap has just replaced some corroded brake pipes, all flexi tubes and the servo( it was cracked) so is there just air in there? or should the master cylinder be the next thing, i have thrown a bit of money at this now and need to get it sorted, i am going back to my chap on monday to have a chat again so would be helpful if you lot had any ideas cheers i advance mark
  3. new battery today, started first time, thanks for the help mark
  4. Hi just bought myself another landy after letting go of my lovely td5 crew cab and now have a very nice focus st and a project, a very rusty looking 300tdi csw. Anyway it has been starting an absolute treat but this morning it will not start and all i get is clicking, a small amount of starter and no starting. plentyt of juice in the battery, all lights working and dimming as they should on the starter motor trying to turn. the only thing i have done differenrt was last night i pushed the 110 back a little in the garage. I think its the starter motor or immobilser( but i can get all the leccy bits to work) your thoughts please cheers in advance Mark
  5. ok, so either i have a wiring problem or yours are upgraded?, anyone else have a prob with dim headlights and is this a potentialy common electrical fault?
  6. Hi, had enough of driving in the dark , what is the best upgrade from standard td5 headlight bulbs ? thanks in advance mark
  7. made mine from the drop down tailgate, used the existing latch to keep it shut and a couple of back door hinges, works a treat. figured it was not worth putting a lock on as it is a canvas and can steal anything from the back with the slash of a knife anyway!! easy to do and works really well
  8. my advice would be to buy news ones from bearmach, will not cost much more than some old scabby pair second hand
  9. pop some old man emu springs on, have a chat with dev 4x4, they will be able to tell you what poundage, a bit expensive compared to some but will last forever, might have to think about front shocks as well because of the extra weight rebound?
  10. sounds like a nightmare, but go for a 2.8 brazilian if your gonna do it
  11. Hi there, i am going to change my middle row seats in my 110 for hi backs for the kids necks!! but before i pay out a ridiculous amount of mney ahsanyone any ideas on alternatives from other trucks or car makers that can be adapted to fit? cheers mark
  12. hi, as the title says, does anyone know the part number for the stays that hold out the side steps on an xs defender, i have just bought some steps but need the stays, the steps are the long ones with a bit of chequer plate not the individual ones cheers in advance mark
  13. Hi, Does anyone know the part number for the spring loaded oval shaped thing that sits on the back of a 110 dc to hold the rope from the flap on the canvas, cannot find it in the part number books and need two of them thanks for your help in advance mark
