New alternator fitted did not use the spade connection in the end, just taped it off. System now working checked battery voltage when engine is running and approx 14.8 volts. If I was fitting a 100amp unit I would also have to upgrade the main cable from the alternator. Thanks anyway patrick

The Original alternator has a spade connection next to the W terminal The new alternator does not, both are 65 amp units can anyone shed any light on this
