  1. Last year I had to take an angle grinder to the bolt holding the clamp in position. As the nut underneath is inaccessible below the battery shelf and it was spinning. Is there a mod for this. MoT coming up and heavy duty cable ties are all that is holding the battery?
  2. Just bought an 1993 Serengetti Freelander 1333000 miles. No real problems after dealer had a propshat problem repaired. A bit tricky to get into revers but that was the same in 2005 when I lived in the Falkland Islands. As I did then pulled off the tailgate door handle appears to have corrosion around the fixing screws. Replacement on the way.
