  1. Just a thread resurrection ....a few years on. I've had the Boge on my RRC reconditioned by ZF in Germany - they own Boge now. They do a heritage programme - it wasn't cheap (about 900 euro), but it's restored the original self adjustment. Cost depends on how shagged the original item is. Try looking here - ZF Tradition - ZF You're looking for the Nivomat shocks section. They used them on old Mercs as well. Good luck!
  2. Update from ZF - they can do it for Euro 850 (but depends on how mashed your unit is). Not sure my spanner spinning skills are up to high pressure nitrogen calibration. At least now i have an excuse for getting underneath and dropping it on my head.
  3. And so the topic continues to live! I'm trying to get my unit replaced / serviced at the moment. Kingsley have them for about two grand with a 300 quid trade in https://www.kingsleycars.co.uk/boge-self-leveling-unit/ Someone called black landy has got ZF to refurb theirs (ZF own boge etc) - https://www.zf.com/site/tradition/en/zf_tradition.html I've mailed ZF to see if they still do the refurbs as it sounds like they are more around the 500quid mark (well that was a few years ago). Seems these are very similar to units that Merc used on some of their classics.
