  1. I thought that would be obvious ? You take it off and replace pipes to where came off . I did replace the water pump at the weekend and I run after without the viscous fan on and the gauge did raise to midway in the gauge.
  2. I was told the fpr doesnt leak oil just fuel . Can you confirm it can leak oil and I'm guessing just remove and fit a new tin gasket ?
  3. That's the idea . I dont like the look of changing the fpr . The oil over the alternator could well be oil from the front camshaft seal dripping down .
  4. Today replaced water pump , turbo filter and engine oil and filter and serpentine belt . But noticed I have a very mucky engine on front and down each side in timing case area but my front cam plug leaking . That's one and 2 is the top cover but only weaping slightly . But the worst one is front underneath on the 4 poster . Its leaking above the starter motor in oil . Defently not diesel. Can the gasket go on the fpl and leak oil and also my alternator is oily too , probably looks worse than is due to not been washed off ever under there and mixed with the dirt . Anh suggestions to how tackle these leaks ? Yes do top cover and cam plug first and while in there will do the injector loom . But regarding the others , any pointers please ?
  5. I realised after I should just raised the rear ! But now I'm towbar less ! I'm going to make a frame for recovery . But also found I do not have a fitted cdl so for now scrap that idea and learn how to drive with traction control .
  6. I have ordered some maxxis bighorns. Brother has them on his 110 .
  7. I need to get under and have a look . I got told of some easy green lanes some I driven in my car last summer so I went out around 7 tonight ...
  8. Replaced correctly ? What you mean ? Never took one apart on a d2 so wouldn't know what looks like . One done a o ring or a seal around the thermostat that pushes into housing and a gasket or o ring to seal .
  9. How warm does or should a disco 2 run ? Mine is only 1/4 - 3/8" above the white line by the cold and heater is not hot but pretty warm . Any ideas what this could be ? Thermostat , air lock , water pump , blocked heater matrix ?
  10. Yes I can find them but defently not cheap at all! In the handbook I found a chart saying on standard suspension the max with no lift is 255 70 r16 . I've found plenty at 245 70 r16 . Guessing that would be ok ?
  11. I can not find mud tyres in 255 65 16 or 255 70 16 tried our 3 tyre supplier at work also . Thing is if you go too narrow it will stretch the tyres on the beads .
  12. Cheers all . Having a word with my brother last night he has maxxis bighorns on his 110 . He said when was new wasnt too bad just now since worn a bit noisey . Thinking going with mud tyres as I don't go far normally ,But I'm finding it hard to find many . Most places stock all terrains or road tyres .
  13. I have no problem fitting them . I can do at work
  14. Where do we get our tyres from at a good price ? Road tyres are 255 65 r16 . Looking for some all terrains. Thanks all .
  15. Well mine had no just hi and low but had the sticker to push across for diff lock . Maybe a 04 registered but built in 03 .. just a guess .
