  1. I did wonder if I could add some seam sealer and then put a couple of bolts through the frame and the skin from the inside. Not perfect but wouldn’t be massively visible due to the spare wheel. Could this work?
  2. Hi all, I had a knocking from the rear door on my 2011 90 hard top, and am after some help on how to fix it. It turned out to be the weight of the rear wheel when going over big bumps was causing the back door skin to flex and knock as it has come away from the frame on the lower section below the spare wheel carrier. I’ve provisionally stopped it by wedging some sound deadening between the skin and the frame, but this has created a gap at the very bottom of the door. I’m wondering how to fix this without reskinning or replacing the door, because it’s otherwise in good condition. Please can I get some suggestions on fixing this? Thanks
