Concerns a lr freelander 2 year 2010
I bought it 5 years ago and up to now it was a fantastic car, the only problem I had was that the key didn't engage immediately and it took sometimes several
tries before it engaged.
Lately however a more serious problem arose: the car starts ok, I engage p or D and the cat doesn't react onn the throttle pedal, the engine idles and the car kreeps
slowly forward ( or backward), no message appears. After several tries to put it in P finally it reacts normal to the throttle. I took it to the dealer and he replaced the BCM (661 EUROS EX VAT)
but he phoned me and said that the key sometimes still doesn't engage at the first trial;
Anyone has any ideas what to try next????
