It took me a while to do it, but it finally happened, I fixed the gloves box cover... I used the inner plastic part and a 2mm Aluminium sheet that I had. I guess you could use a thinner material for the work. I used glue and rivets to keep the parts together and painted with Raptor. I think it came out nice I wrote some more details and a short video, here, in my blog.

BTW, If you have some mechanic work experience, it is not too hard doing it yourself. Although, I would recommend that the first time would be with someone who knows what he is doing. I changed the timing belt by myself and wrote a guide, you can see it here. you can also see many guides on youtube.

Cam belt kit itself is around $100 USD. For a mechanic it would take about ~2-3 hours of work. (I don't know the cost of mechanic hour in your place...)
