Have checked all pipes shouldnt be them but i will give them another check any ideas how i should check the turbo please not sure the right way to check it. Yes injectors should have all been coded too. Thanks for the replies

Hi all so im almost done from my build and have been having trouble with the engine. Now the engine has been rebuilt using parts from turner engineering all around, head was pressure checked too and all 5 new reconed injectors from merlin diesel. It also has now a egr blanking and has only the rear stock exhaust rest is straight pipe. The engine starts fine and idles perfectly but when increasing the revs it starts to shake and a bunch of white smoke is made. This problem is really making my head hurt as i have checked all over the internet,multiple of forums but they all say the same maybe some sensor or pump or ecu but i have a new original land rover pump new filter and housing new injector harness new crank sensor and i also tried checking if it is a problem from the airflow sensor and still nothing also had managed to aquire another ecu but still the same so switched back to the old one and there is no oil in the harness as it had been cleaned out while doing the rebuild. Now i am trying to source some other injectors to check my reconed ones but until then did anyone have something like this and has a solution or has any suggestions of what i can do or check until then please ? Hi does anybody know what bumper this is as i quite like it and cant find it. I between this or thw equipe one but dont wish to spend so much just to go offroad and ruin it. Open to any other suggestions for a good winch bumper

Hi i have looked around on the forum and some people mentioned it but what are you guys finding the best paint for the underside of the body ex under rear tub, inner wheel arches, foot wells, under seat box. Should i go for something like anti stone chip and then paint over or use normal chassis paint as i have no clue what to use and which brand is best for this for mac protection are durability. On a side note i also would like opinions on seamsealer as i need to re do the bulkhead as its just came from galvanising.

Hi i dont know if this is the right place but im after a td5 rev counter preferably a genuine one and cant seem to find any place to get one as they are all out of stock and dont have any idea when lr will stock them again. Anyone knows of a place or someone selling any please? Thanks in advance. Tried britcar, lr parts, croytec all say out of stock

Worn plunger, but thankfully managed to get in contact with m and b fuels and they directed me to merlin diesel who have amazing customer service as they helped me with everything and made my order and should have the injectors very soon. Thanks for all the help

Hi, has anyone bought injectors for a 15p green code please as mine all leak from worn plungers and apparently its a non stocked item so they cant be repaired. Anyone had any luck and can recommend a good place to buy new/refurbished set please as i have found some but none reply back. Thanks in advance Part no. Hi so im interested in fitting a rollcage onto my truck cab 90 and from some searching i found that a bunch of people recommend north off road but when trying to find their website or anything nothing comes up, can anybody help with providing a contact or link please. Hi i have a 90 td5 06 and i have rebuilt it on a galvanised chassis and am building it for road and off road use, can anyone explain what is the best clutch i can get because from what i have found is that there is a mix between clutchfix and lof clutches, i have heard good things about both but i also seen somewhere where they say that lof is just a copy of clutchfix can anyone explain and direct me to the best option please. And if single or duel mass as i dont know too much about clutches.

Hi i am in the process of rebuilding my 06 td5 i have galvanised the chassis and the small parts around it (cross member, rear body bracket, etc) and was told i should galvanise my bulkhead too. Can anyone help what should be done as preparation and if it actually worth doing the bh? Was thinking of making a frame around it to brace it from the windscreen mounts and also all around to the chassis mounts so there is minimal distortion and flexing, also the galvanising company will have somewhere to lift from for the forklift. What other parts can i galvanise too was thinking the brake mud shields, the spring saddles but dont know what else? Thanks in advance

I cant find any part numbers on allbrit but i can try source some from somewhere and try those suppliers you suggested, i actually dont mind that they are European company as i am from Europe too so it doesnt make a big difference i just want quality mostly and a reliable supplier where i can buy all the screws and fittings needed but thanks i appreciate your help

Hi am doing a rebuild on my defender td5, galvanising chassis and what not and i am looking to buy as much fixings as possible to replace old ones. I have come across allbrit.de and found that it has a lot or if not all the bolts/screws washers and nuts that i need, has anyone used the site and bought from them please. Whats your opinion on them and is there any place better to get them from? Dont wish to get stainless steel ones though. Thanks in advance.

No they dont move at all i have tried to move them by hand a bit aswell but they are not moving and i dont want to do exessive force as i dont want to break anything

Hi i have just bought a new defender 06 and the wipers seem to be stuck in the middle of its movement i have checked and the current is getting to the motor and can hear the clicking from the relay so im guessing the stalk and relay are all good but they arent moving, does anyone know what the problem might be as im thinking that its the whole motor that is at fault because if it was the park sensors they would move but just not park, what do you guys think as im new and dont know what i exactly need to do, any help is appreciated.
