Has anyone on here had anything to do with electric power steering racks? my build has 16ā coilovers and 4 link arms on the front allowing up and down movement only, unlike a panhard rod that moves in an arcing motion. To eliminate bump steer i intend to use an electric steering rack of something heavy to bolt to the top front of the axle. What i need to know is do they require a module to work or can it be bypassed or something, maybe a potentiometer or resistors? Ideally the rack will come off something with the rack in front of the wheels not behind as i donāt fancy reverse steeringš. The truck is road legal so hydraulic is out of the question, and a conventional box would result in horrific amounts of bump steer. Please only comment if you have some knowledge of electric steering racks. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Octobox

Just looked up the green bible its Ā£50. I met a guy at a landy jumble that had a nice set of custom headers on a s2. He reckoned it freed it no end. You only have to look at the pig iron manifold and poor pipe design to be able to tell gasses arenāt going to want to go down it. Any info would be much appreciated. -
I am contemplating making a full stainless system for my s3 lightweight. Can someone advise me further on these specs for the calculator. The ones i have used are from hours of googling so probably all wrong! Many thanks joe

What about the non thor 4.0L engine the one with the traditional trumpet housing. Was this one as complicated or did it use the same tack as the earlier 3.9s?

Hi all I am looking into buying a 4.0l thor out of a disk 2. My question is what is required to make it run. Obviously it is going to need the engine loom& ECU, AFM,LAMBDA SENSORS ECT. Is there anything else like alarm, ignition coding? Does anyone have a wire diagram they could post. Cheers

Fair play i guess it makes sence to of preloaded the fuel instead of trying to jet it all through in such a small time frame. It kinda makes me think spray pattern shouldnāt be so crucial if it hasnāt got spray Perfectly around the valve just dump the right amount in and then suck it through right? But then i guess a neat spray is the correct amount and anything other than neat is less fuel? Cheers for the info guys its much appreciated! -

Hi bowie69 so you are saying it just squirtes fuel at any of the 8 ports regardless of wether the inlet valve is open or closed. Then when the inlet valve opens the incoming air will drag the puddle of fuel through haha š. That has to be the crapest system i have ever heard no wonder they donāt just fire up on the first kick. Thanks for the replyš -
Hi all i am new to this forum business so please bare with me. I have a 3.5 efi and canāt for the life of me work out how the ecu knows wich injector to open. I know it picks up a pulse off the coil that comes from a halleffect sensor on the dizzy. But all the ecu recives is 8 identical pulses? How does it know to squirt on say cylinder 7 and not on say cylinder 2
