Hi I was checking under my bonnet today on my discovery 2 ready for a long journey tomorrow and for the first time noticed the extra tank joined to the powered steering tank with ace on it and done some digging and found out what it was. now my question is this the tank is completely dry and I don’t know how long it’s been empty I’ve had the car s couple of months. No warning lights up on dash so wondering maybe if the previous owner has decommissioned the ACE system? I don’t want to put some fluid in it and it messes something up. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. Ok I’ll have a look into it, I have checked all the levels and everything seems to be fine. I haven’t had the problem since Friday so see how it goes 👍

Hi everyone looking for a bit of help. i got my new 1999 t reg discovery last weekend and has been fine but I decided to take it to work to show the lads, jumped in at 5.45 in the morning put the key in let the glow plug light go out and turned she went to fire up then stopped straight away, tried again and just kept turning over. I tried a few times and nothing. I went back in the house to tel my dad came back out and it fired up straight away. Is this anything to be worried about as I’m a little scared of taking it out now. thanks in advance
