Hi I’ve got a L reg 93 disco 200 tdi I got in my disco this morning and all the normal dash lights came on but when I try to start it it would do nothing so what I did was get a lighter and melt a bit of the rubber of the red and white wire on the starter motor and it would crank over and start with a screwdriver so what I did was i got one of the volume switches for the radio that came factory but I had a modern radio so the switches were useless so I got one wire from the volume switch to the orangey and white wire on the back of the ignition barrel and one wire from the switch to the red and white wire on the starter motor once I did that I turned the ignition on and pressed the volume switch and she fired up so really I got push button start and I fixed my problem I hope this helps some one who has this problem as I had no fobs to start with
