Hi there Sorry yes I mean fuel injection pump. The noise that's coming from the pump is like a rattling noise. The noise stopped when I changed the fuel filter then came back again a few days later. Then I changed the fuel lift pump and same thing happened. when you are driving the disco it sounds more like a mechanical noise rather then fluid. No it's not causing a running issue neither.

Hi there I've got a 1998 discovery 300tdi. I currently have a issue with the fuel pump being noise. I've changed the fuel filter and the fuel lift pump, the noise is still there and don't know what else it could be and advise is very appreciated. Tia
