  1. Thank you again Western. My wiring seems to be correct. so it must be something else causing it. Is it possible that a jammed wiper motor can blow a fuse? Or the fact that the washer pump isn’t connect..!? I’m getting kind of stumped now 😕
  2. If it helps. My main harness is AMR5856, and my wiper stalk is AMR6106
  3. Thanks Pete... the brown and green is on the wiper stalk... this is my confusion. As the brown and green are on both of my old and new (supposedly 300tdi) wiper switches/stalks
  4. Thank you Western. The harness seem to be correct. I have two wiper switches, old and new. They both have the brown and green wire instead of the plain green, shown on the harness and diagram...
  5. Hi all. I’m a returning member who has now acquired and Rebuilding a late model 300tdi 110. But I’ve come into a small issue with my wiper wiring. I’ve installed a brand new wiring harness and I’m struggling to match the wires up to my new stalk. 5 of the 6 wires the colours match, but on the harness I have one green wire, and in the stalk one brown and green. If I connect them up, every time the wipers are selected, it blows the fuse. If I disconnect the brown and green from the green, fuse doesn’t blow but wipers won’t work either.... can anyone help please...
