Ah yes I see now. In my design the aux lights are simply not earthed. I’ll revert to the standard setup.

Hi all, I'm looking at wiring spotlights into my 2.4 TDCi. Using this diagram from Bearmach (originally from @PaulMc as I understand it)... However, I think one of the issues with this wiring is the orange tell-tale light will only come on when the main beam is on. I'd like the orange tell-tale to be on whenever the switch is on. I've come up with this two relay solution, which involves adjusting the switch slightly. Will this work and does anyone ( @PaulMc?) know how to modify the switch to sever the ground per the little yellow line?
