  2. id change to belt to be safe aswell, but id do the cambelt kit, because ive heard the tensioners go nearly as often as the belts,
  3. hi all my choice would be swivels, before arms, but arms are cheaper get +3degree arms i wouldnt poly bush if you wana offroad coz they stiffen everyting up, cheers
  4. thanks for your reply, it hasnt done it for bout 5 months of having these tyres and im up and down mountains all the time, my truck arches are chopped to bits for clearance and its had 2"body lift and 3" spring lift, and there on 32mm offset modular rims, thanks
  5. hi all i got a 200tdi discovery and im running 285/75/16 insa special tracks, it started when you get around 50mph the passenger front wheel would wobble badly, but now its around the 30mph mark, any ideas what this could be, some say balancing but hasnt always been like this, and some say track rod end, any more light on the subject would be cool, other problem only when going up a big hill, i get a stronge smell of burning rubber, doing the old sniff test it seems to be around the rear wheel area, but sounds and smeels can travel, again this 1 does baffle me so any help would be greatful, thanks
  6. hi i had this problem, i got new springs and it solved the problem, it was a saggy spring, or the cheaper way is to get a small spacer mad to correct the sag, i would recommend new springs, hope this helps

  9. hi all, my friend has a discovery 300tdi, the other day when we has the really cold night, he went and started it in the morning and it started fine he got about 200ft and it lost power, we dragged it back to his house, it starts and run well for the first 30 or 40 seconds then itloses its revs and power and just ticks over you can press the pedal but no reponse, if you let it tick over for a minute or so it will rev abit, we changed the fuel filter incase it was that, but no joy, so we changed the lift pump but still no joy, we cant see any cracked or broken fuel lines, any help would be most helpful cheers guys

  11. hi mate ive had plenty off the cheap winches, like champion, t max, etc they dont last, id got for a warn 8274, if you look around you can pick up a sencond hand 1 for 300 or 400 pounds, i got mine for 300, and it will out perform any of the cheaper winches and out last them, you will have to get a proper bumper just for the warn 8274 i also rate super winch these are another good winch cheers hope this helps abit, ta

  13. hi all, my girlfriend has a 300tdi discovery and the other day the heaters went bad and temp gauge stoped working any ideas, drives fine so dont think head gasket has gone, no milky oil, could it be a thermostate, any ideas would be good before i start waisting money on the wrong things, ta
  14. ihad the same on my 200tdi i cleaned the terminals where the bulbs go and where you conect the loom to the bulb holder and it was fine,
  15. hi all i had the same probs with the seat belt bolt, mine snapped in the end, and i got tressed and beat the floor with a hammer, so i thought before i do any more damage il take it to a garage, lol
