thanks, checked again and the isolator is actually 500a! its a Rhino Carbon winch, it is rated to up to 400amp but as you say better to have a bit more

I would like to wire a Carling Switch so it acts as a winch isolator. I already have a suitably big 400amp relay, but how do I wire the carling switch so that it only works with the ignition on?

Cool, id like to do something similar. Is the machined T made from aluminum?
