  1. I had a feeling this would be the case :/ The body roll dubery has been disconnected along with the air suspension and a 15p td5 fitted (triggers broom!) I'll start with checking the led's, I have plugged it in and got a speed sensor code which I've cleared and will re check
  2. Hi all, hope your having a cracking Sunday ? Recently got a high mileage disco 2 as a tow vehicle. Slowly working my way through all the things that don't work lol The main issue I'm a bit stumped with is this: The abs/traction control and hill decent are all not working. The large square (not the spade) fuse under the bonnet 30amp marked on the list as "SM" was blown, so I swapped it from the spare (I had a spare one from what used to be the air sus but it's been removed) Now the abs works..... But no light comes up on the dash and the TC and HD are still not working. Do the discos use the and sensor for the TC? Very grateful for Any advice guys and gals ? Jack

Hi all me GAIN!!!! i have recently rebuilt my 1996 300tdi defender, all new body work, a nice new set of puma doors!!!! i was going to spray it bonnatti grey , but thats a three stage paint!!!!, so i was wondereing if any one had any ideas on what colour would look good that i can do in synthetics/or two-pac??? and if so if you might also have the paint code thanks to all jack

  9. Hi all me again!!!! i have recently replace all the body work on my 1996 300tdi defender. the rear tub was taken from a td5 model, so naturaly the filler neck does not line up does any one have any ideas?? (apart from d44's £200 aero cap!!!) cheers all jack

Hi all i am at my witts end!!!!!, i am 18 years old and have been driving my 1996 300tdi defender about 6mnths i pay two thousand pounds a year ahhhhhhhh im sick of it, why should i!!!!!, i am a good, safe , and considerate driver, not some yob in nova or a corsa! so please all any help would be appreciated thanks all jack
  12. A Likely cause for a big loud wine is telling my girlfreind i have spent all my money on the landy, thats why were not eating for a week!!!!! (sorry all had to be done!!!!)

  15. Hi All! Got back from Donnongton park Today(2hrs each way), to discover a shot wheel bearing and uj!!!! so i found an old prop i had laying around(as you do lol) and bodged my uj up lol!, i have greased it but it was very worn (205k) No such luck for the wheel bearing, gave the wheel a good wobble! and it does have play in it!! and it sqeaks when driving so firstly can i limp it around for a while??? and should i buy a bearing kit, or individual bits?? and best place paddock??   20. hi all! lol as ashamed i am to admit this but i actually used to work for halfords (hemel hempstead!) and its all true there trade prices are silly cheap but beware not all items are cheaper!!! well branded unusual servive items can work out more than say , bennetts or all parts!! cheers jack
