  1. a 2 or 3 " lift and arch mods will allow you to fit 33's just make sure the rims you get have the correct offset, also you might need to adjust the lock stops on the steering rack, HTH Shaun
  2. Hi i have a 200tdi auto and the box has gone south, trying to find a sensible priced 200tdi box is becoming neigh on impossible and i need my truck back on the road asap. Just had a look it, turned it over first time and she started ran for 10 mins then stopped, where abouts is the relay located and what colour is it? Or does anyone else know what could cause this Cheers Shaun
  8. In my opinion they aren't too harsh......they a definately stiffer than the oe ones no question of a doubt, but they are not as harsh as say -40mm springs for a nova/corsa/escort ect if you know what i mean?...My wife has back problems, but she's been fine in it and thats off roading and hr hr and a half continious drive Cheers Shaun
  9. Hi Susan welcome to the forum If your looking for a Classic, the later ones aren't always the best Alot of ppl on this and different forums have said that the last of the classics (L plate on) where made of lesser quality metal, and suffered rot more than some of the earlier ones( something to bear in mind)
  10. I have +2" britpart hd springs, and they have made my Rangie alot more cometant round the twisty stuff on the tarmac, and i didn't have any problems when i went off road at the begining of the month, infact they worked extremely well.....for a budget lift, i've heard using the standard rears on the front give you around +2" lift and then just get a pair of +2" standard springs,if you don't want the harshness of the H/D springs
  11. Its not that bad under normal driving conditions, more than tollerable, you can hold a conversation at normal level and stiil hear whats being said
  12. As you may all know i am very pleased with my RRC, but the soundtrack it produced was a little lame for a V8, so i was bored at work the other day, and thought hmmm....., a new s/s system is well out of my reach at present, so i set about the Classic with an exhaust cutter, oxyacetaline and a powerflow center section i took off another car a while back, 1st off i cut out the middle box and replaced it with the said powerflow box, and started her up....she sounded better but still too quiet for my liking, so i set about the rear box, removed the box and welded the tailpipe back onto the exhaust and came up trumps.....In my opinion this is how landrover should of made all V8's sound like, enjoy....(sorry about the quality as it was done on my phone)
  13. Cool thanks for the advice Nige Cheers Shaun
