  1. Hi, if you cant get it to poole give me a shout as i'm only in clutton.
  2. Gb springs are also very good and are handed left and right, also i would not bother with paddocks as they will supply britpart, which is ok if you like a lop sided landy!!
  3. I might have a nearly new exmoor trim one for sale, pm me if your interested but bearing in mind i'm away for 2 weeks in france from tomorrow.......
  4. Dont woory, its all fixed. A slightly under voltage battery was the problem. Enough to spin it in warmer weather but not when it started to freeze. Rangys runnning better than ever now though as it made me clean and gap the plugs, clean rotor arm and dissy!!!!!!!
  5. Your new battery, how many volts is in it as even brandnew batterys need charging before they get used. It will have to be at least 12.4 volts if not whack it on charge. Clean the contacts on your dissy and check your spark plugs and clean/regap as necessary.
  6. Strange, hope mine does that when i go out there in a minute. Its cold out there! Bummer about the bike, i just sold my lightweight. Oh well theres plenty more on ebay!
  7. Sounds like your having as much luck with yours as i'm having with mine You still have that mountaincycle for sale?
  8. Cheers for the reply, it was running fine till i went to start it today. Battery is now on charge so will try everything tomorrow.
  9. Hi, can someone tell me what the resistance's should be on the ign coil as think mine has died due to the cold weather. Sparkplugs getting wet and not starting on lpg or petrol. its a 89 vogue 3.5 efi. cheers all
  10. Hi, can someone tell me where the headlight relay is and what colour wires it has going to it please? Its a 89 Vogue v8 by the way.
  11. I paid £400 for my f plate SE, with 10 months mot, 100k and with lpg. However it didnt come with any wheels which wasnt a problem as had loads of them at the time! Oh and bobtailbogey i'm going to ask again whats the best price you'll do that mountaincycle for?
  12. I picked up a sealey supermig off ebay, its 195a and will weld anything that im ever going to need. It will weld at 25a on the lowest setting so can still do body work with it.
  13. With the steering arms disconnected the swivels should should have the resistance of a house door opening.
  14. Hi, i had the same problem on a iveco van. It turned out to be the diesel pump packing up. Had a new one fitted and it was fine after that oh and easy start bends youre conrods gradually so you start getting less than full piston stroke and hence less compression. Thats why some vehicles will take a full can before they start when they get bad.
  15. Hi, i've got a webber carb on my s3 lightweight but my broyher has a spare inlet manifold for a su carb (He's into racing old p4 rovers which nearly share the same engine minus two bearings). The question is which is better?
  16. Run the engine up to operating temperature then undo the bolts, carefull it gets hot so remember allwasys get an adult to help you!!
  17. I use keygas in wrexham, its £2 a month bottle rentel and £30 to fill and they deliver for free too! Oh and they do co2 for £15 with no rental.
  18. Cool nice one for the replys, western you have a pm (or will do once i finish writing this...)
  19. I ve typed in towing d rings and not getting anything, looked on ebay and in lro......
  20. Hi, does anyone know where abouts i can get the towing/lifting eyes that bolt onto the front chassis legs of a series landy?
  21. Why dont you make your own? They dont look difficult and half the bits can be bought off the shelf and will prob cost £5 in total!
  22. i got a Sealey supermig, its 195amps so will weld 8-9mil mild steel and realy rate it. You should be looking for one that goes down to about 35amps and goes upto 135amps to be able to do chassis work any less than that and you wiont be getting good penetration. I know the people on the http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/index.php rate the clarke migs for diy use so if its up to the job why don't you just treat it to some new consumables as £600 won't get you much for a pro user one like cebora, murex and the like. But what ever you do DONT BUY a Sip!
  23. You say "ABS Disco will be a female clip fixing" but mine is non abs.
  24. Hi, does anyone know if metric range rover brake lines ( fronts ) are the same as non abs 1995 disco ones?
