Hi all just to update you all, on the road run . in aid of E.A.C.H (east anglian childrens hospice)
this will be around a 50 mile route a few pubs where we hope to stop off at one for a non alcoholic drink of course!!
as for the green lane we have discoverd that as of the 1st of october all the byways have been closed for the winter ,although we are in comunications with the cambs county council who will help where they can , but not holding out much hope , but the one we have in mind is very well grassed and looked after so will not be causing damage to any of the real oldies!!! and it can be bypassed very easily if needed, it leads to a ford as well wich could be fun but also this gets closed when we have had lots of rain so will have to see on the day!!! apart from that the route we will take is windy lanes with plenty of breakdown laybys not that we will be needing them!!!, all in all it will be a quiet day of good motoring and a chance to meet up and compare notes !!
we will meet at Grafham Water Car Park adress : Grafham centre, Marlow Car Park, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE28 OBX
and this will be on Sunday 16th november 08 at 11:30am and will be where we return to for light refreshments .
