  1. The box above the pump is a motorised zone valve. In your set-up this controls whether the boiler is heating the hot water in the cylinder or sending it to he radiators, or doing both. If you are getting heat in the pipe that runs from the zone valve in to the cylinder (front one in pic) and no heat to the pipe which runs out the zone valve then the valve is knackered. Some valves have the option of a little slider on them allowing you to move the valve to a manual fully open position allowing you to have heat and hot water while you sort a new one out if this is the problem. If there is heat in the pipe coming from the back of the zone valve and going down through the floor to the rads then it is probably a knackered pump - although i would expect heat to some rads or certainly to the pipework beneath some radiators due to the gravity effect - ie hot water from the boiler pushing the cold round the system. Why is it it takes 3 paras to explain something i'd be able to do in 5 seconds .....
  2. I have on of the dual circuit versions of these on mine. Does the clutch and the brakes ... last time a looked it was still on the drive .... I wanted something purely mechanical and as its a truck cab soft top you can get in by sticking your arm in and unlocking the door Gives me a bit of peace of mind when I am not about Although the very posessive 55KG German Shepherd also helps
  3. Jim You seem to have my name on the list twice. I have paid for 2 x XXL shirts at the top of the list but there is another Rod x 1 XXL at the bottom of the list unless it is someone different. I only ordered 2 but if you have over ordered an extra one then I am willing to take it and will forward payment unless anyone else wants an extra one. Let me know but I have paid for the 2 I ordered. Ohhh the shame of it Rod
  4. Jim payed by paypal, PM on it way. Ta
  5. XXL for me please - can paypal when needed Rod
  6. Ive got the Meck Lock fitted on my ragtop 90. I went for the two circuit system which not only interupts the clutch system but also interupts the brake circuit and locks the brakes on if they try and steal it. Apparently not legal in the UK cough ..... ahem but not had any MOT issues with it. If it keeps is on my drive i dont care
  7. I had the same problem with a set that i had which were new rolled edge ones. The quality of the zinc plating was terrible as well. I moaned when i received them and didnt pay full money for them in the end. About a year later they cracked and i decided to use other rims instead. Would never buy them again although i still think they look great.
  8. Adrian Flux have been great with my policy. Heavily modified and with an agreed value - which they agrred to after looking at some of the parts invoices - and dirt cheap compared to the last lot i used. Been with them 4 years now, and never been charged for any changes to it
  9. maybe - i aint saying nothing I also used to live near Arrochar for a bit - near where the AFC is held, was motocrossers and trials bikes in my day around there though easier to miss the trees
  10. Oi minivin - nowt wrong with my home town..... So long as you wearing a flack jacket Mate of mine used to deliver cars for auction up there is his artic ...... he couldnt beleive it when he was parked up waiting for them to open some one was taking pot shots at the cars with a rifle try and explain that one to the insurance company ........ Its got better since i left though
  11. All wheel trim were great when i was sorting out my extended truck cab hood. Speak to Kim as he's the organ grinder there.
