evening all currently running 200tdiand a standard gearbox with overdrive which is not the best,running fine going in all gears just noisy on start of through the box, would i be able to put a 200tdi gearbox in my series what would it intail,shorter prop?

hi all got a side exit on my series 3 tdi is there something you can get to protect my wing? i have the exhaust coming straight out of my wing at 67mm need an insert 70mm to 90mm as ive seen in mags on other landys but unsure of the name of them can any1 help cheers

hi all some person I'm not that keen on has put paint or some white milky **** in my diesel tank.not happy any how got most of it cleared through empted tank etc just as its about to fire,i gave her a breather from turning over then the next time i turned the key i heard a hissing noise or burning noise and then loss of all power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i left it 10mins no sign of anything burning everything is how it should be,so i turned the key and all i got was a click then nothing does anybody know whats happened cheers luke

yeah thats how it was,so bassically run a live from the battery to these relays and that should cure the prob??? can i ask wot u got mate?????

hi all having some problems with my electrics!!!! recently done an engine change to a 200tdi,for some reason the lights are not working checked earths which are good,on my dash there are a neg and pos and when i run i live from the batt to them the light wrk!!! also if i run the live to the switch the lights wrk!! ive tride tracing the wires and everything seems ok (no of it was toched during engine change) under the drivers floor bolted to the chassis sits about 4 relays and 4 fuses which i presume were attached to the v8 starter motor,so when i click the switch for my work light in the back which does not operate but u can here clicking from this box??????? havei done something wrong or missed something out????? is there any simplified diagram anywhere or has anybody had a similar problem cheers for your interest luke.....

hi all does you r side exit have to come out of the drivers or can it come out of the passenger side????

hi all does any1 know how long from cold start it should take the water in the header tank to start feeling warm???? also i want to bend my exhaust down and round so it will come out just under the drivers door,any1 know of any ways to do this i thought mayb steel flexi but unsure where to obtain this,would i need a cat and should i put my back box on would this silence it,or can it be a straight through pipe??????????????????????

hey all ive put 200tdi in my series, i'm not havin a heater so the 2 pipes on top of the engine 1 facing towards the bulk head and 1 facing up towards bonnet,do i join them both together somehow??? this is final stage now has anybody got any tips for checks etc or things to do before i try and start her will be attempting it tomorrow cheers everyone

hows it going just had a look at the tank in the centre obviously the sender unit,then 1 pipe on the top seems to be the only pipe there. following along to what seems to be an electric fuel pump(do i need this)then a pipe from that to the engine. what i did notice was like a very small plate on the top of the tank with 2 screws could this be where the return line used to be

i will give it a go tomorrow and will let you know cheers for your advice mate

hey all i need to find out how i can run a return fuel line from the original series tank to the 200tdi/disco fuel filter?????? does it need 1 i have most bits well everything off disco so can i do it without buying anything cheers everyone any help very greatful luke

not sure just chatting to people about the idea is it poss to convert to coil without changing the chassis?

is it poss to put disco axels onto my series 3??? does any1 know of any indoor space to rent??/? cheers all
