  2. Hi, recently did some welding repairs to the chassis of my 90 pickup but forgot to disconnect the battery. when i realised, i went to start it to see if i had damaged the battery, it didnt start but after a jump it did start. after a long run thinking it would recharge the battery, i stopped, cut the engine and tried to start it and the engine wouldnt even turn over. the battery still shows 12v on multimeter. what would i have damaged???? cheers donnie

  10. hi, ive been renovating a defender 90 recently, when i got it, the brake pedel travelled to the floor with hardly any braking but i thought it was because it was lying for a while so pistons etc would have seized. so ive changed caliper pistons, pads, discs, shoes, cylinders and bled it all but the pedel still travels to the floor!! is it the master cylinder at fault?? cheers donnie
