  1. Try checking the hose connections to turbo to intercooler.
  2. Jambo, The swivel bits are called Jate rings. Looks like they are bolted on tube/lugs on standard side steps. Easy to make, all you need are the rings and ally plate stuff. Try DSL landrover spares. Stephen.
  3. I think you will find grooves on the outer side of cylinder, for the dust rubber?
  4. you need a bracket welded to the door just where there is a cut out in the ally panel below the door lock. A brass wedge is then bolted to the bracket which should line up with another bracket to fit the wedge on the door pillar. Best to look at another Landy with it all in place. Also, a third hinge would be handy if you carry a spare on the door. I would have thought the old door should have been fitted with all you need. The same applies to the new door too!
  5. I glued camping mats to roof and sides of my hardtop 15 years ago and it is still there. One corner peeled back, I think the carpet spray glue was applied too thinly as the can ran out, but glued it back with some evostick I found in Nairobi. It also appeared that the spray adhesive had dried and became powdery, so a stronger contact glue may be the answer. Do a test strip and make sure the foam does not dissolve. I slept in the back in winter in UK and Spain with nil condensation and still use it at altitude in Africa with no problem. Carpet may be too heavy, rough open weave may not stick so well. Camping mats are really easy to cut and trim with a new sharp scalpel blade and are so lightweight. I also stuck thin but rigid plastic sheet over foam on side panels to prevent damage. Try Devon Conversions Ltd online they may give you some info.
  6. Helloodeyha, You could hinge seats at back to give access to battery/store boxes. Make sure to secure at front so you don't tip back when driving. I used strong T hinges in S111 14 years ago and still going strong. Also, the steering wheel may be closer to legs? I used smaller Mountney wheel. Hope you get on OK.
