  1. Lookin forward to watchin may even help " if me child lets me "(12 year old girls can be sooo much fun to own)".
  2. Round 1, "Brains and BIG Balls" It was cold, muddy, and everyone seemed to accumilate in the ditch the "plastic truck" did very well, till it wore out all its electricity Team Sharp "did'nt" manage to fill in there score card It snowed http://www.flickr.com/photos/garrystuart/sets/72157629154428012/
  3. This idea seems to have little interest, so it will go no further , thankyou
  4. Winch cables, and waffle board hammock ?? How heavy are u, "u have a plastc truck"
  5. Think ill pop down and help marchel "if u'll have me"
  6. I agree fuel costs keep going up ect, and this is why i am doing "market reserch first" before i spend too much time and effort ect, I dont want to run a straight hillclimb "way to dangerous ect" and besides anyone can blast up a straight hill if u fall from a hight it's not good, but i am thinking of a number of meandering uphill " marked out trails", so more a teamwork than brute power event
  7. Have had an idea to organise a hillclimb challenge type event, MSA regs, ect. I have the Perfect site ( bewdly .kidderminster area). Thinking fastest truck up a series of uphill sections, winch or lead foot. Anyone interested ??
  8. Hmmmmmm site has only 1 entry/ exit, and is pritty remote /quiet, hundred house (BnB) is just up road http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=375452&Y=265898&A=Y&Z=120&ax=375692&ay=266298 Pm me for more
  9. All the rounds have "good to reasonable camping, and resonable access for towing vehicles Depends on ur experiance and skill with a trailer as to ease of entry :hysterical: :hysterical:
  10. R1,has Quite resonable access, Nice Grassy field , its almost flat ish, ideal for camping, Come join the Saterday party , ur not stupid, there an't no directions yet , It;s a kinda supprise . Try the Halfway house BnB,great whitly. Nice people, trailor friendly carpark, foods ok, cheep, cheerfull, and do a early BIG breckfact "apparently"
  11. Why on earth would the MSA BE INTERESTEN in "WEIGHING and MEASURING" the entry vehicles, Ive had a quick look in the kov INFO, and can see no weight /size requirements, and i can't find or think of any issues in the blue book for challenge trucks  . Ps im sure KOV's scrutaneering area will be a calm friendly place, with lighthearted friendly banter, and smiles aplenty
  12. May be a little bit large for my suzuki. But
  13. If u concider that thay come wiv steering ram, ect, and no need for armour, then there not quite so heavy, compaired to all the steering + axle of a landy, And who needs wide, when weight will hold u down, and u have massive steering angles and u actually fit through gaps ??
  14. Anyone ever fitted / thoughts, ect on plant axles??? say Jcb 3cx front axles ??
  15. All this "bickering over regs" is sounding all very "howlin woolf , ex " :angry2: There is a complaints procedure that ALL MSA events have, So if on the day ANNYONE "scrut or entrant" .as any "issues" with "there or someone elses entry" this is the place to sort it out!!I. It should all be written in the regs!!!!! If not then please look on the MSA WEBSITE its in the BLUEBOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please remember that as a competitor "It is your responcibility to prove elegability for an event" so having a knowledge "or a copy" of the regs to refer to" may help. Now back to important questions "is there a tap on site???"
  16. Simple Question Whats the stronger / better axle for 36" tyres on a challenge truck?? Landy / rangie classic/ 90 or Toyota landcruser or Nissan Patrol And yes i will be requiring some sort of difflock eather aftermarket or origional equipment.
  17. Maybe instead of dissapearing of grumbaling, competitors should show there support for the "dedicated few". If the support isnt forthcomming from within the BADLRC " then maybe its about time that the competitors throw some energies into helping with events ??. lets face it we all like playing, but this leads to broken trucks, and this costs money and time to fix, so why not VOLINTEER to help at an event, maybe help set some punches on a saterday ,scrutineer some trucks on the sunday, bring a friend to help marshal?? whatever u feel u can offer, DON'T LET THIS EXELENT SPORT LOOSE A DAM GOOD SERIES!! for the lack of a bit of effort, and as for the LRS too far south "tough its near my house" and thats because i got of my arse and helped set it up because i got sick of travalin miles and miles for an event, u can always move
  18. Its a real shame , But it just shows that there is a sevear lack of club help to organise events, "and not just in badlrs but nationwide" and it's always left to ther same dedicated few, maybe just maybe if a few more volinteers were found "lets face it we all enjoy the playing / competing" then this wouldnt happen. I really really do simpathise with the organisers, it must be really sole destroying having to put a holt to something that they obviously worked hard on. :(
  19. ]ALL INFO HERE ( There are even little orangeeee named boxes which if u give them a little tickle wiv ur screen pointer thingy will reviell stuff of interest like Maps, postcodes, dates, classes, scoring, contacts, some pritty pictures of some trucks) http://www.lrschallenge.co.uk/index.html
