I used this= Castrol GTX diesel oil 10W-40 b3 = £11.92 FOR 4L at Morrisons - Also Dont forget to change the Crankcase breather filter -this is a MUST.

Great to Drive - i bought a 03 TD4 and its fantastic on the road -the family love it only problems is you have to keep service up to date - read my post and dont get stung !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a quick note -Landrover say change the filter every 12000 miles ,come into effect begining of 2007 - Read my post and find out what happens when you dont.

My TD4 went in for a service at a local garage -the mechanic found that there was a slight oil leak coming up the dip stick due to a worn O ring nothing to worry about (so he said )- Got vehicle back and 5 days later the turbo went - took it back to garage and he tried to replace turbo -he managed to get the old turbo off but he took 1/3 of the engine off as well - finaly gave up after 4 days and i had to take it to a specialist - Vehicle back on the road in 2 days - Had he changed the breather none of this would have happend -he STATES that autodater adivise to change these filters every 24000 - LANDROVER SAY 12000. Do i have a case for refund on money spent putting car right ?.
