  1. Hi guys, I have just been offered galvanized 110 chassis.(my present one isn't and it aint that good!) But can I transfer my 90 bits onto it, are there any unique parts to them both that will not transfer.I fancy doing a four door and pick up back, any thoughts? AND what are the legalities of it.ie DVLA etc etc. My 90 is an 86 NA 2.5 diesel truck cab. Don't know what the 110 is or was. Any help appreciated. thanks.
  2. We have an truck cab 90 at work and if you over 6' you are gonna hit the "new"dash lower bits with ya knees! God help ya in a front end shunt......ouch! but it goes well
  3. Hi folks,I have just been given a Range Rover Gearbox X member (age/source vehicle unknown). The question is will it fit straight away or is modification required and how much? Oh, its going ,I hope!, onto a 86(C reg) swb 90 N/A diesel....And while I am on the subject of chassis, why doesn,t anyone make half chassis as they do for series machines? Or do they.........
  4. It lives! New slave and master fitted and we are off. Well on the drive anyway.... See what else crops up now!
  5. Hi fella's took all the advice and removed the slave cylinder and we have grinding....I assume the clutch was stuck off! Is that unusual? Ordered new slave and master cylinder so we shall see what happens when I fit em! While I was crawling underneath, the gearbox X member has an hole in it,bugger,a new one I think. Any suggestions as to were I could source one,new preferred? Thanks R
  6. thanks, roybatty666! Is shall investigate the slave cylinder,as the clutch pedal apparently was seized solid but it ain't now,as I have just found out. Excellent archive info'. As the body will have to come off to repair the chassis replacing the clutch would be a good thing to do anyway,as you suggest. Thanks again.
  7. Hi folks, the wife got me a project for xmas.. Nice ... It's 90 truck cab NA Diesel. Getting better..It runs sweet..Better still...Rear chassis gone.. Oh well..But the problem I have is with the motor running and no clutch,at the pedal anyway(full travel,no resistance) I can select any gear in any ratio I choose with no grinding etc etc.Is this normal or is there a horror waiting inside the gearbox/transfer case or clutch waiting for me?? Help. The 90 had been parked up for a few years with no problems at park up(no MOT),so I was told!!! I live in East Yorkshire,is their any suppliers, dealers or general LR services in my area that you would recommend? Thanks R.
