Does anyone no if there would be any legalites of swapping the rear seats out of my Massi which are just 2 seats to a 3 seat unit. Only asking as it's registered as a 4 seater.

Hello all on here its been a few years since I last posted on here so am just updating where I'm at. I've just bought a cheap well hopefully cheap 53 plate Maasai 3 door hard top. Needs a few bits and bobs doing to it one being the usual rear window open/close issue. It drives ok apart from a clonk on the rear when changing gear or accelerating hard again I think this is the rear diff suppport even though vendor said it was exhaust. What I would like to be pointed in right direction with is the central locking. It'll lock drivers side door no problem but wont unlock has anyone got a schematic drawing of the assembly or any ideas what it could be. Opens fine on the key and passenger side is fine.

what part of road legal would this infringe? Is it because it over hangs the body work? Tim

Can anyone assist please I've got an oil pressure gauge on my series 3 instruments and its not working at the moment, I would like to get it going but I can't find out any information about the sender ie where it should be on the block and wiring etc. thanks in advance Tim

Thanks for the reply's but I would rather keep the original mounts and try make adaptor plates. Thanks for the exhaust but already have everything as it was fitted to series 3 beforehand.

Hello has anybody got any information about puting a ford v6 into a series. Looking for information on engine mounts as dont want to cut out original ones was hoping someone may have made adaptor plates to convert to fit. Cheers Tim

Hello, Can anyone help please. I have come by a ford V6 engine and would like to fit it in my series 3. Does anyone know or have the dimensions for the engine mounts? Preferably without having to alter the original mounts as I might want to return to the 2.25 petrol in the future. Thanks in advance Rich :
