hello I was just wondering if anyone had changed their turbo hoses or know how to do it and could give some tips, iv got silicone hoses to go on in place

my sister in law has a disco 2 and has trouble starting it, she turns the key and all lights come on dash then turn bit further to start and just a single click and nothing, any ideas would be very much appreciated

hello, my father has a freelander 2 and his rear drivers side window has started playing up, it wont go all the way down or up in one motion, it drops then stops, drops then stops, takes about 6 presses of the button to get the window down, has anyone any idea what the issue could be???

We are rebuilding the 90 today, when we stripped the front down we found a fair amount of play in the ralco bush, hopefully when we rebuild it today with new ralco it will sort the issue, will keep you posted

He had the vibration/wobble before the 2" lift was put onto the 90

my dad has a 90 that hes built, he had trouble with the vibration being too much for him to handle at 40mph, (2 different sets of wheels) he took 1 set in and had them balanced and they filled nearly half the rim with wieghts so i think they were a bit out and we went up the road and his face lit up as we hit 50mph with no vibration but when he let off to slow down the vibration hit back, serious issues holding the 90 on the road, just wondering if any of you kind landy lovers could point us in the direction we need to go to sort this vibration out, forgot to mention he fitted a brand new steering damper aswell

my dad has a freelander 2, he now has a door that wont unlock with the central locking, it will unlock manualy but not with the other doors on the central locking button, any help would be greatly accepted as I dont want the job of taking the door apart

can anyone help, iv been given a mountney steering wheel that came off a series 3, was going to fit it yesterday but the boss is the wrong size, so i counted the splines and got to 26, iv been looking for a boss and can only find ones for 36 or 48 spline, does anyone know where i can find one please, any help muchly appreciated, it's a 98 discovery 300tdi

Looking for help, im looking at doing my timing belt and iv been looking on ebay for a kit, they all say modified timing belt kit, can anyone tell me what the modification is and will it fit straight on?

hello all, iv got a horrible squeeling from under my bonnet when my disco is ticking over, it gets louder as i accelerate, thought it might be my fan belt but that is tight, anyone have any idea what else it might be???

just wondering if a series sreering wheel boss will fit a discovery 1 steering colum, any help appreciated

i have changed oil and filter and then my kick down cable broke so had a mechanic fit it and he told me the fibres are burning away, new oil went in after that and it is now starting to slip, does anyone know if an autobox from a v8 will fit a 300tdi?

it feels like its slipping when you drive it along, its my first auto iv had and can only compare it to a manual clutch slipping

can anyone help me? iv been told my auto box is on its way out, the fibres are burning away and im going to loose forward going gears, how much of a job it is and what would i need to change it please

can anyone tell me how to see if my wastegate is stuck, i have no idea where to look or what to look for

driving home from work today my disco started to whistle, took the lid off the air filter box and its coming from the pipework from turbo, anyone got any ideas, i realy dont want it to be what i think it might be

mine is actualy booked into a garage to ne done on monday, iv been quoted between £100 and £150, thats with me supplying the kick down cable

hello fellow enthusiasts, iv just started getting a problem and wondered if anyone would have an idea what might be wrong, when i push accelorator past kickdown the cable comes out and then when i lift my foot off again the cable doesnt feed back through the outer cable, leaving the kickdown cable pulled out, if i need to change the cable does anyone know how as my haynes manual says to take it to a landrover specialist

I have picked up a low grumbling noise when driving my disco, happens when driving straight or turning left, noise stops when turning to the right, sounds like it's coming from front passenger wheel, any help very much appreciated

Is it the safari one that comes out half way down the wing or the Southdown one that comes out closer to the windscreen?

best advice i can give is get it plugged into a dyagnostic, i vspoken to a landrover independant mechanic and he can put in an injection pump from a manual, it is issues with the number 4 injector which turns out to be a discontinued part
