  1. Been following this thread with great interest for a while now, engine looks like it has some serious potential! Pretty sure I'm going to ditch my SBC and TH400 and lob one of these into my ongoing project! From what I've managed to find out through trawling the web the 722.6 box from a Ssangyong Rexton or Jeep Grand Cherokee will bolt up with a bell housing swap, then it shouldn't be too difficult to bodge the LT230 to the back of that with a custom spud shaft and a simple adapter plate for a relatively short and strong set up! If the same controller Hoss is using in his build for the gearbox is used then you can also control an he351ve VNT turbo to make a potential 400bhp usable. Anyone see any reason this wouldn't work? Going to start gathering parts soon and see how it goes...
  2. Hi all, Ive tried a search but can't seem to come up with anything. Planning on making my own double beadlocks, anyone know where I might be able to buy some blank rims, I'm after 16x12 idealy but 16x10 would probably do. Could always just buy some wheels and cut the centers out but it's a bit of a struggle finding something wide enough and it would be nice to start with a clean sheet. Cheers, Milwillfly.
  3. Hello all, first post on here but been lurking in the background for a while now! In the process of building something of my own and have been on the hunt for the elusive ZF74 for a while now and just thought you might like to know what i've found so far and if anyone can build on it.... First of all found this http://www.unofficialbmw.com/images/steering-flush.pdf which appears to give part numbers and lists vehicle fitment. Getting all excited i went and looked for a couple of 7692 pumps but unfortunately they where all 110bar. I then found this http://www.zf-lenksysteme.de/upload/edit_2...Pumpen04_D2.pdf I know it's all in German but if you scroll down the page to near the bottom there's a table giving flow rates and pressures, from this it looks like the pump to go for would be the ZF FP6 series. Again unfortunately the only car i've found with one fitted is the E60 M5 so still a little bit spendy! So if we can find a fitment list we should have cracked it, just need to spend a bit more time on google then..... Regards.
