  1. Awesome, My nephew reckons it looks like the car Tigger should be driving round in too!!
  2. Have you taken it toa specialist for them to have a listen. I have had a few turbo diesel cars and you can often here the turbo sppooling up, not usually anything to worry about though. If it is louder than usual could be a PITA to sort or it could be simple. Turbo goosed... doubtful at that mileage, vacuum pipes, possible.... When was the last time it had an oil change??
  3. Ihad similar issues but on a different car. Turned out to be the bushes. They had all gone spongey so weren't holding things as well as they should. Might be worth checking, should be able to see if they are well worn just by having a look and a prod! Mine had actually cracked quite badly too so that made it more obviously lol
  4. I think you need to get the lacquer that streches a little though. Saves you getting cracks in the finish. Not sure how muh those arches would actually move though!
  5. Under the seat eh... Cheers, I'll add that to my checklist
  6. Someone here must have some pearls of wisdom.....
  7. You should be able to fit any Alpine changer I would have thought and possibly some other makes too. Best thing to do would be to nip into a local audio shop. They are usually really helpful... Probably cause they want to get you spending your dough there lol
  8. They say you should keep the enire size, new wheel plus tire as close to the original size as possible but I have never bothered to be honest. Long as nothing rubs and your happy with how it looks then it's all gravy! They look well nice BTW, even better in silver I bet!
  9. Will it actually do any harm to the pump though?? I notice that on mine, bit more difficult to turn when stood still and mines got wider tires. Suppose it might just end up burning it out quicker is it??
  10. Went over the dunes with my old man near too Abu Dhabi... The guide got us stuck and we had to wait 2 hours for his mate to come and tow us out lol
  11. Not sure if it will work for you but I ended up pretty much bypassing the standard alamr by fitting an after market one. Use the after market alamr to lock and secure it now so the RR one never kicks in. It was locking up overnight and I was having to disconnect and reconnect the battery 2 or 3 times in the mornings before it would accept the code. Had no problems since I stopped enabling it though!
  12. I have a 1995 P38 V8 and had to change the dash bulbs recently as I couldn't see the cpu display Think I must have knocked something when I was in there cause now it keeps saying there is an airbag fault and the SRS light is flashing all the time. I have had a look and tried pushing all of the connectors I can see into placee but syill nothing. Are there any areas that get easily disturbed or do you need to get the srs system reset or something maybe?? Cheers Chris
  13. From what I have read the air springs are fairly easy to fit anyway. A days job I believe and you can pick up a new set off fleebay for about £230
  14. The fob is dead as a door nail, I have tried replacing the batts and resyncing but nothing. Just trying to use it with the key at the moment as I have some guys coming to fit a new alarm on monday. Think I may have sussed it though. Seems that if you put the key in and turn it to the lock position before turning it to the unlock position it seems to disable the alarm. Hopefully thats the case anyway and it wasn't just lulling me into a false sense of securtiy this morning otherwise I'm gonna get stuck in work lol
  15. Hey all, new here so be kind, or not lol For some reason over night it arms itself and won't unlock with the keycode until I have disonnected the battery waited 30 minutes and then input the code. If I put the code in before I have disconnected the battery the indicators just flash at me 3 times?? anyone know what that means?? I there anyway to disconnect the alarm cause I get the feeling it's fubared, oh and it's a p38 btw Cheers Chris
