  1. Sorted, although I had spark must have been a weak coil, changed coil started first turn of the key, had really bright light coming from noid light aswell, now for m o t test, dd
  2. Powercoared a chassis never again, after few month looked a right mess chips easy come off in sheets, and it's very hard to patch up after, dd
  3. Checked blue/yellow power at ecu plug, brown/orange power at afm checked injector connections in ecu plug all have 11.85v with ignition on, don't think I have pulse on white/black wire, is it the ignition module that creates this pulse via the relucta in the dizzy,dd
  4. Only got power w/red wire while cranking at sm relay, will check all if it stops raining, i haven't got a w/red wire on starter motor,main brown to battery and a smaller brown to terminal and a little spade connector to solenoid, thks, dd

I have a continuity test from the w/b wire from the resistor off the coil to pin one and get 6.8ohms which I think is right, is there any way I can check the pulsing, if I put a test bulb on pin one would that show a pulse, and the over run relay clicks, and i also I jumped it, still nothing,dd
  6. The range rover classic I have now, had a beer can opened up and stuck to the floor with bitumen also had the top off a bean can to seal the floor

Hi all,range rover classic 3.5 auto 1989, I've done all the tests in archives efi, problem I have is injectors not opening, tried a noid light but get no flashing, I have power on the white/red wire at sm relay but nothing at fuel pump relay, although I have fuel at the rail and can also flip the flapper and get fuel that way, plenty spark it fires on easy start, injectors not opening, even taken them all off and cleaned them and a back flush, injectors them selves are good, think it could be ecu, but I have two, same thing happening, there's a few connectors missing in my ecu plug is this normal,dd

  9. In top right of photo under the shrubbery there was a Armstrong bicycle 1950's, my neighbour remembers riding it when he was 15/16, he's 74 now, got a photo and still got the bike, dd
  10. Sent v62 forms off today fingers crossed, nice looking mini badger110, makes you wonder why so many people were fascinated with such a small car, dd

Moement at last, phoned dvla, 1963 super deluxe, they have all details, other one with just chassis number can't find anything atm, have to fill in v62 form, both mini's will be for sale once I have all documents, my had mini's a long time but to much work for him with his day job, he also makes all fibreglass parts for mini's even complete shells, here he is at silerstone on a trial day, thks for all your help, dd VID-20220325-WA0005.mp4
  12. Well off the mini mania chart it's 1969/74 chassis number starts xa, looked up for heritage certificate, but unfortunately 1969/77 not available for that period because of lack of information or evidence from dvla or anywhere,dd

Hi all, first of all, if this is in wrong place or not allowed please feel free to delete, I have resently cleaned an old mechanics garage out, who passed away, I have two classic mini's, one has number plate and chassis number sorted, the other has only the chassis number on a bare shell, is there anyway I can get the reg number from this chassis number, everywhere I try ask for vin number, which only started in 1981, I know this shell is in between 1969/74 which I can tell from the chassis number, dd
  14. Hi, have you change all the calipers, if the front one's have three nipples on, the inside one's have to be bled together, had this on my 110 project which is now sold, I haven't read all the post, thought it might help, dd

Hi all, discovery 2 v8 4.0 auto 2002, been losing water from valley gasket, so strip down, and found this plastic disc lying on the valley gasket when inner manifold removed, compared it to a 2 pence piece,the car is also running on lpg, any ideas, looked everywhere can't see anything missing, thought it was off fuel rail connection ?, dd
  18. Found the belt 10mmx670, that allows for adjustment on alternator, it's a dayco, are these descent, dd
