  1. Found its new incarnation and the archive is still there - many thanks. Unfortunately his website and yahoo group is defunct so all the pictures/write up are lost in the aether
  2. Found some old photographs of the beast and offspring installing the T-Series Turbo http://www.cosic.org.uk/MarkoStuff/Land-Ro...o%20Conversion/
  3. A few of you may recall my son Marko and Twink (as FridgeFreezer seems to have christened it) - Series III with Rover T-Series Turbo. Well youngest son and I have now officially inherited it as Marko is living in California now and decided he won't be using it for a while. He lunched the turbo (and countless rear halfshafts) and then the LT77 decided to eat some key internals before he left. Then middle son cooked the engine in my Rover 820, so the three of them combined the best bits of the two T-Series engines to put my Rover back on the road. The fact that middle son was using it as 'his' car probably had something to do with their enthusiasm for putting 'my' car back on the road! As insurance companies these days are having hissy fits when I try to get insurance for youngest at 17 on this thing as well, rather than rebuild the T-Series we will probably be joining the vast ban of 200TDi engined Series. Lots of lurking and reading ahead for me! Boring I know after the Twink, but needs must. I drove the beast once and it scared the bejaysus out of me, so not really suitable for teaching youngest to drive anyway. I believe Marko plans to sell on the Twink conversion components eventually, so if anyone is mad enough to want to book first dibs let me know. Some recent references to it here: http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopi...03&hl=marko http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopi...77&hl=marko http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopi...95&hl=marko http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopi...56&hl=marko http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopi...42&hl=marko Can't find the 'original' threads, so if anyone knows how to point them out for me I would appreciate learning what he got up to on this forum.
