  1. thanks for that Steve, was beginning to wonder,btw, is this a job that you would do in situ? not that it matters really as I've got the TB off now,but for future ref.
  2. within the transfer box there lives a diferential unit, upon dismantling this unit, I found a wire ring, it encircled the ends of the diff pins,that is, around the circumference of the said diff unit, and across the ends of said pins, which the planet gears revolve on. I was asking if the manufacturers fitted this ring as standard
  3. hi, can anyone tell me if the metal retaining ring around the diff pins I found in the LT230 tb is MOE Thanks Barry
  4. just to note, the prob .was the diff pins broken in tb.so new gears and pins and away.
  5. oh dear,looks like gonna need a cheap transfer box then
  6. no drive to axle, so no normal drive, but no strange noises and drives ok with the diff lock in
  7. got no drive to rear axle from transfer box but have front axle if diff lock engaged. no funny noises from box, are they fitted with sheer pins? or any suggestions thanks
