  2. we have been using ebc green stuff pads with cross drilled and groved disks for quite some time... You MUST break them in following ebc's instructions. The pads do not set until after ther break in sequence. Also make sure you buy them from a reputable sorce as there are fakes out there!
  3. will get some pics up tomorow... Its quite destinctive has a bonet mounted spare and chequre plate covering the winch bumper. The company name on the side is tree solutions. Tah, dan
  4. a very good customer of mine has had there 130 stolen from outside there house monday night.... its a genuine land rover special vehicles (with special vehicles vin plate) 130 tipper single cab in white. recently new hankook tyres and tree surgeon sign writing. 300tdi reg No: N854PVC if you see anything of it or here anything please give me a shout on 07772814269 thanks for your time, a very unnerved Dan
  5. i use kumho kl71's i have 35x 12.50 they stand at aprox 34 inches tall... i have not balanced them and have no need to as they perform faultlessly, as did the 33's that i had before that covered aprox 80,000 miles. i have used the cooper stt's and to be honest find them horrible, they hold stones and clog with mud. more worryingly they dont seem to stop any ware near as well as the kumho's. we have a set of stt's on my girlfriends truck and the side walls are deteriorating terrible and will be replaced with kumhos asap! the hankook RT03 is allso an excellent tyre...
  6. nope... its my 110 got plenty of guardians stuff on both my 110 and my other halfs... good quality and good looking... mine has a 12000 ibs winch sat in it and has had some good hard pulls, never had any problems something fishy about that ebay add, dosnt look like guardian at all to me :S dan
  7. both me and the missus run kl71's and canot fault them... mine are 33x12.50 and have coverd aprox 90,000 miles so far and are not quite half worn. they are exellent on and off road!
  8. i did my 110 in 2 months and 2 weeks outside with no ramp ect.... that included overhaulling both axles inside and out, new brake lines, nuts bolts ect.... i think if you did the hours you plan you could do it a bit quicker. just to give you an idea of what you can do....
  9. this is mine lol bit of drain pipe for now and some flexy through the bonnet to the air box. not ripped it off yet unlike my old safari one... dan
  10. i like this one http://www.landyonline.co.za/locals/redbull_defender.htm dan
  11. ok im trying to get hold of some pins for the leaf springs on a series 3. the springs have been stripped and overhauled but they cant go back together untill i have some new pins any ideas?? cheers dan
  12. i have OME and i think they are well worth the money! they have been fitted for apox 2 years and there has been no noticeably drop in performance they even undid when i did my chassis swap. the land rover feels very sure footed and they have taken a huge amount of abuse! dan
  13. on the last one i did i used the disco pipe and reshaped it to fit
