ive got a defender 90 V8 gearbox sitting on my drive doin nothing think its the LT85 5 speed was rebuilt only 2 years ago mint condition. Just incase you interested also was from a V8 so bell housing should fit straight on.

Well i was thinking of relocating my batteries to behind me in the back but after seeing the fuel tank kit i might just bang 2 of these in and do away with my normal tank alltogether so then i can get even weight distribution. Thanks for your advice all one more thing how much where they ?

Hi all Can i fit a second to my 90 so i can run twin tanks eg under the passenger seat. I used to have a light weight with this system just wondered if it is possible for a 300tdi with twin tanks ? And can i use facet fuel pumps for deisel ? Thanks

Not sure if this helps but i do have a mint 3.5 engine for sale just been rebuilt by a company for scorpion racing pm me if interested. saves you alot of hassle and you can bolt it straight in ive had one of those clio,s worst thing i ever drove apart from the citreon AX lol!!!

Hi All another technical question i am looking at buying an R380 box for my defender now i know the defender ones have a short input shaft and disco ones have long input shaft. so we all know disco boxes are 10 to a penny so i have worked out the cost of buying a short shaft and it seems i can get a better box for my money from a disco and buy the shaft also, so the question i ask is can i just swap the shafts ???? just so you know i fully qualified techy just know nothing about these boxes so i can do work myself which is why i am contemplating this idea Ohh and i suppose i have to change bellhousing aswell can anyone think of anything else that would need changing ? Appreciate any help on this thanks Simon

Hi All I am going to change my engine from 3.5V8 to 300tdi and was wondering if the wiring loom is compatible or will this require complete replacement. Thanks for you time Ohh and this is my first post im sure of soon to be many hehe
