Thank´s for the information...localized the oil filter. The EAS now work thank´s to the dealer here in Tenerife (Canary Islands.Spain). The guy seemed a bit impressed with all the system I built to be abble to inflate the airsprings so they didnt charge me for the reset....that was good. The car goes smooth now.....yes!! This morning made the same thing...just stoped and turned on the light of the inyector.....did it two times.....But keep on ok...I´ll have to take it! If somebody knows what could it be? Adal

Hi! Own a RR p38 DSE 2.5 bmw. Got three cuestions see if somebody can help. 1. EAS gave problem and I have done myself the repar...changed fornt airsprings,Changed all o-ring in airvalves (Inside black box under bonnet),made myself air independent inlines for each airsprins...pumped it up and doesnt loose air...but is on hard fault mode. For avoiding ECU of EAS pumping down the air got fuse 3 anf 17 off and the car stais up. Have the cable and software but dont get them to comunicate with ECU of EAS unit.......Can I still run with the car like that for the time beeing??? goes well!!! 2. Have to make oil change but dont know were the iolfilter is.....cant find it (and do know something about engines...but not about diesel...and the engine is so tight unde the bonnet!!!. A photo will help..thanks!! 3. sometimes driving and the is a loss of power......and the light of the inyjector comes on on the dash board...and the engine stops.....tur the key off and then on....and starts ok....off you go......¿Somebody know what happening?...something is wrong and dont know what....and think It´ll go worse I think!! Hi!! Have the same problem. Have chainged everything in the air system...but cant reset it. Got cable and software and bought serial port to usb cable....but doenst work!!! A friend tell me that the information is differet the one on the serial port that on the usb....has to be configured!!! Have to call him see if he comes round. When that hapens I´ll tell something Adal

Hi!!! Have a RRp38 DSE and have problems with the airsuspension. First it gave a fault problem (light on the dash board thas indicates car raised up...and christmas tree in side dash board).....but after that when in to hard fault mode. First I didnt know much about the air suspension and statted studying it.......what I did.....Changed both front airspring (because at the begining the car droped from the front),installed a complete rubber kit O ring for the airvalves inside the EAS box (inside the bonnet),made myself a independant air inline suply for heach airspring, new rubber o-ring for top airsprings.....after all this...the system can be pumped up manualy al a petrol stattion..and.....doesnt loose air........But now I have the problem of resetinf the ECU of thye air system; Have bought the cable and software from ebay........tired to comunicate with ECU but doesnt......¿Bad configudation off computer?.....Dont know... Somebody has something to try??? Adal

HI!!! I have a P38 DSE aswell. I live in the canary islands, here is not very cold but rattles when started in the morning. doesnt last long. Do have two problems.....hope you can help!!! When driving...suddently I have lak off power and the inyector light comes on.........if you are running in motorway and 5 gear you can just wait for it to go out and keep ok. But if going uphill you stop and the engine goes off and the inyector light go on. Either way...you turn off the key...turn it on again and off you go....with not much problem!!!What can it be??? Have aswell the EAS in hard mode...but have allready replaced the airsprings (and made some independant ail intake lines so I have it pumped up), replaced all the rubber seal in the solenoids,aircompresor and the rest.....Do I have to take the car to LR dealer to have it reset??? (Have got tha cable and software but doesnt seem to work......?) Thanks for the help!! Adal (Tenerife.Canary Islands,Spain)
