  3. We are thinking of making The trip over To coney green,If we can get our truck fixed In time after yarwell yesterday.
  4. Don't forget you've got to buy a tow vehicle and fix the trailer:-)
  5. Get your towrope ready as most of us tow with vans or campers.
  6. I am up for it along with my new co-driver, Tom Fall, but how road legal do the trucks have to be? Mine is MOTd (as for the Challenger 4x4 series) but I'm not going to tax and insure it for one event.
  7. You said the whole truck was cheap!
  8. Just a quick thank you to all at the HBLRO for a great event. Here’s a link to some pics
  9. Woodlands 4x4 pay & play will be closed in May and June Please note that the Woodlands 4x4 site near Brands Hatch in Kent, will not be running it's usual playdays on the 1st Sunday of the month in May and June. Please double check in July that the site is open as usual before coming. Please pass this message on to anyone you know who usually goes there, and feel free to post this on other 4x4 forums. Many thanks. On behalf of Woodlands 4x4
  10. Woodlands has been the first sunday of the month for 10 years
  11. Neil, is there any chance of moving the April, June ,August ,September, October& November forward as it clashes with Woodlands.
  12. Finally got home at 2am Monday morning as van broke down 150 miles from home. The exhaust gave up the ghost again and then burnt through the brake pipe. 3 hours later the RAC collected me on 2 transporters, one for the van, one to tow the trailer and 90. We woke up our sleepy little cul de sac , even though Sue told the men to turn their flashers off!!! Van now fixed but not even looked at the gearbox on the 90 yet; other more important things to deal with, so I'm told!
  13. Well done Chris & Simon. I have a spare 2 door rangey Classic windscreen if it will fit . Look’s lick our class has ternd back into a team event.
  14. I have a Complete 2 door 3.9 EFI Range Rover Classic, bobtail Challenge Truck. As seen in TOR and LRM. PM me if interested. Edited to remove advert. Buying and selling is for the classifieds once you have a minimum of 20 posts. Thank you. DEANO
  15. Good event, coupled with a 4 hour drive there and back, so no complaints there either. Shame we had to change the rear diff at lunchtime, but hey ho! However, that tyre change special stage was not built for Range Rovers! We're a good bit shorter on the chassis on one side now thanks to that zig zag through the trees! Neil (or anyone else), did you happen to pick up our green step that we drove away and left behind in the car park? Thought you might have seen it as we were parked near the AWDC trailer. See you all at Slindon
  16. After spending 2 hours replacing the coil at the start of the event, as we were in the furthest corner from the start that we could possibly be and Kev had to walk there & back!!!, we then smashed the rear diff right at the end of the special stage trying to get the balls back on the board!!! Hey ho!! It's all fixed again now and ready for us to break it again at Slindon on Sunday!!!
  17. We need to find new team mates for the Mike Wolfe Challenge on 20th May at Slindon, due to our entered team mates having had their vehicle stolen on Saturday night!! If anyone fancies this please get in touch. You won't win anything cos you'll be with us but should be good fun! Kevin & Sue
