  1. Got mine from this chap on Ebay - check item ref: 190325268492 No problems to report so far!
  2. Oh - back to the drawing board! Many thanks for looking though
  3. As the title suggests, can anyone confirm that this is the number of a Stage 1 V8 front propshaft?
  4. I'm not 100% this'll work but worth a go! Try removing the seat squab from the drivers (or passengers) seat - I forget which side the stalk is now. Feed the stalk through the outer seats frame (you may need to unbolt it if the straps are very rigid), and then replace the squab. The middle belts catch will now be held tight against the outer seat. Assuming you or the passenger seats occupant aren't similarly blessed in the ass department, all should be well! I think this'll work. Before replacing my standard seats, I had the driver and passengers catches fed through in this way as it holds them steady and you could belt up one handed. I must admit I didn't try it with the middle one though as I had a cubby box..... If it won't stretch that far, I don't see any reason why you couldn't piggy-back it onto the drivers/passengers mounting?
  5. Got a magnetic one on the way, but that looks good. I wanted one that sits flat on the side of the console, over the fag lighter
  6. Here's that photo I promised (better late than never!) Not a great picture I know. The dangly wire is for the ipod connection - has tidied the dash up a bit though, hasn't it?
  7. I don't think it would make any difference which way round they are. I can only assume that some CB's are shorter than others (mine's a Midland). I got sick of messing about with it and have stuck a beer mat in between the two to stop them rattling Still haven't done the photo's, got involved fitting a battery cut-out and forgot, sorry.
  8. Yes mate, put it in this afternoon - took me a couple of hours (no assistants to hand!). Went in dead easy with excellent, clear instructions and good quality fittings. I'll add a picture tomorrow if you like. I have only one piece of advice - I fitted my CB in the top angled bit and my stereo in the bottom - they touch at the back! This makes the wiring really crushed in so make sure you measure up better than I did! It's going to be really tight if I ever decide to fit some switches in between the two. Also, they say you should be able to fit the rail back on top of the dash when you put it all back together - I couldn't, I had to chop a lump out of it and put it back in two separate bits - of course, this could be because of the afore-mentioned cb/stereo problem but that has more to do with my own stupidity than any shortcomings in the console. Overall - well chuffed, looks really good!
  9. I'm in the middle of adding a MUD console at the moment. Seems to be a good quality bit of kit - the plastic fascia is suprisingly thick. I've fitted my stereo, CB and fag lighter into it so far so have done all the cutting out I intend to do for the minute - might add an extra 12 volt socket sometime. I'll let you know how I get on with the actual mounting if you like. Martin
