  1. Anyone know what these are like, do they compare to Simex and does anyone know anyone who has some ? Ta
  2. Here is the link to the championship points so far, we are in the process of editing the spreadsheet to make it clearer but you can see your results from here for now. http://www.challengeroffroad.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=45&Itemid=36 Also some good picies too...
  3. Yep but the ECU doesnt log faults the same as the firing order
  4. Thanks for the reply. Yes the fault code is Cylinder number 4 but the ECU reads the firing order as 6,5,4,3,2,1. So cylinder 4 is the 'third' to be read, hence fault code being number 4 cylinder but the description saying number three ( i.e cylinder 4, the thrid cylinder in the sequence) Still got a damn misfire though ! grrrrrr
  5. 2003 V6, never missed a beat but now got a prob. Basically it started with a misfire and engine light intermittently comming on. Got a diagnostic check done, code was PO304 but discription was a misfire on cylinder three ? ! Changed plug and coil pack but still running lumpy. Engine light on perminantly until medium / hard accelaration then it flashes. No coolant loss / no signs of head gasket gone. Dipstick spotless. No back pressure. Engine runs at correct temp. Heater / thermostat etc all working correctly. Cleared the fault and it comes back fairly quickly. Used the diagnostics under the misfire count, it's counting on cylinder number 4 so I guess the diagnostic has got a description error in the software. However, I'm not sure how the cylinders are numbered... If its not the plugs / coil, what else could it be ? Appreciate any help. Thanks everyone.
  6. Hi all....Sounds like fun, I hear that X-eng and ALisport are going to be there ? any spaces left ?
  7. What a fantastic day ! Even the rain added to the atmoshphere ! Once again, loads of lessons learned Very well done to Dan and Adrian, awsome effort !! I think that works out over 5.25 hours as 1 punch every 3.75 mins ! That includes finding it and getting in and out ! I can see i've got some way to go :blink:lol
  8. Well both myself and my Co-driver had a thoroughly enjoyable season. Sometimes we've not done so well, sometimes we've done very well... The only thing steeper than punch 5 at Coney Green is the learning curve we've both been on. I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who organised, ran, helped, setup and competed in the events. We've had advice and help from spectators and competitors alike. I feel this level of sportsmanship contributes to the overall spirit of the event and of course lends itself to the face cracking and a big smile breaking out...after all, isn't this why we all crawl around under dirty landies etc so we can go play ?? !! I'd hate to see politics creep into a fantastic clubman event. Yes its competitive, yes we take it seriously, but it's so much fun !! I now find the wait for the race reports, landrover magazines to be posted through my door almost unbearable...i'm thinking of having a letterbox cut.... I for one am really looking forward to next year....
