  1. Hi freelander one will be ok to leave disconnected just wait a few min before disconnecting to power down and when reconnecting just press remotes acouple of times to re sinc Freelander 2 a lot more electrics would stick with a one
  2. Hi sorry but this is for the bass amp unit for hse harmon cardon system U need a kit as the wiring I think has to be run through the car to the battery and mount relay ect it depends on the system on Your caravan to weather need a split charge relay system or not

Hi Yes both breathers are terminated in the rear r/h wheel arch above the liner Pls take it back to dealer and get them to lower the level as the correct level is to the hole then remove x ml of oil for both the halex and diff separate oils ( ford when can a level hole not be a level hole if it's a ford !!!) hope this helps
  5. Are u sure it's the sump as use to do lots of oil cooler pipes and front and rear cranks seals They were a nightmare when in warranty to keep them oil tight

Hi not read your previous posts but What your saying imobilizer light flashing and not starting if left unlocked is totally normal it's passive arming so if left will auto arm its self Standard feature just push the unlock button on remote. All cars ect are best left locked at all times as they have been programmed to shut down ecu' s and not flatten the battery ect Hope this helps

  10. How old us your fl If it's pre 04 face lift With Hdc switch on the lever it's very common for the wires to the switch to fail / break

Most leak from tail door glass to seal area Some leak at the l/h middle seal distorts look for water marks where it's running in Water will find the lowers point But yes the easyist and cheapest is poke a screw driver the through the carpet and if u look under car there is a body seal ( round grommet ) in the floor of the cubby box slide a flat blade screwdriver in the edge and will let water out Done this many times for owners Will dry out but if u prop the box lid up will dry lot quicker

  13. Is it a Vvt mgf lump if so u should use the mg ecu To match the engine
  14. All u do is tail door open using a screw driver roll the lock ( catch) over and window will go up A bet that light tap will have bent the door enough will not take much.
  15. Difficult to say on the air bleed pipe from the rad the top little pipe on the tank when the cap is on is there air in the fluid ?? If u take the engine cover off and look in the v for signs of coolant leaking ?? The best advise is to get a sniff test done to check it is not hgf as v6 do have problems also

  17. Or fuel pump in tank packed up as will run happily without only when increased demand cannot be met it shows up If u undo fuel filter and turn ignition on then off and see if u have fuel running out Also very common is as above a seized waste gate
  18. Sounds to me like its the engine breather in the rocker cover is blocked and causing your problems if I were u I would convert it using the BMW parts to a cyclone type much more reliable
  19. Hi very common u have probably hit the spare wheel- mount and bent the door very easy fix Remove the door trim Roll door match over and lift up window The get a large block of wood and hammer and gently straighten the door
  20. If the air box is loose it can make a surprising amount of noise Remove the battary cover and retry As it rattles on it To refit loosen spring clip Lube rubber mounts and gently push home Hope thus helps
  21. Defo agree with above sounds like prop bearings And again been done over with britpart bearings and others only lasted a couple of 100 mls Please buy genuine only

  24. Sound like u need a new compressor we (dealer) are now fitting the amk upgraded compressor it comes as a kit with upper and lower covers all in the box think labour inc fitting and software update is 1 to 1.5 hrs
