  3. Hello. Still a question. I want to install the PRRT kit on my Freelander . I bought the kit Land Rover as seen on this subject: http://www.unicyclist.com/gallery2/main.ph...2_itemId=559552 But I do not understand why the gentleman who is the subject autor changed his kit? Is this the mounting for a Freelander? Can someone tell me how my mechanic must install my kit correctly ? Thank you for your help. JF Sorry for my English, using a traducer.
  4. Hi. Thanks for your help! I'm sure it's from the engine. It seems like a carburation problem, or a allumage problem...
  5. Hello. My second question regarding my Freelander, petrol 1L8, 2000, 107,000 km. For some time, I have a tremor of concern in the engine. This problem exists only when I let go the accelerator, or when I'm off the accelerator. If j'accélère, no problem. The engine starts well, the idle is stable. Only by traveling to accelerate when I stop I feel that these small tremors in the engine. My garagist gave me different ideas: - throttle position sensor - Stepper-motor The plugs are new. The catalyst is dead. I will change next week, with the lambda probe. But the problem existed before the catalytic problem. Do you have any ideas? Thank you. JF
  6. Hello. I just introduce myself in the proper forum. I am French, North Brittany and I Possee a Freelander 1L8, 2000, 107,000 kilometers. Sorry, but i use a internet translator.... I come see you because I can not find the answer on the French forums. My first question concerns the temperature sensors. On the 1L8, there are two sensors in the high output engine. A brown one and blue sensor (single wire) below. On the French forums, nobody knows exactly how they work. A probe is used to trigger the fans, another to indicate the temperature at the gauge panel. But do you have any knowledge about their respective roles? Thank you. JF http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/7954/sondestemp3.jpg
