Hi thanks for the replies.covered a few miles since last top up no water loss. will give the cooling system the once over at the weekend see if any signs of a leak.next thursday pullin the caravan 150 ish miles thatll test it(hava AA card).temp gauge sits bang in the middle i assume thats normal. atb.spudd

since changing my water pump at the weekend i lose about 1/2 in of water from expansion tank after a 10 mile run.it used a spot of water before i changed the water pump same amount but over a couple of hundred miles.no sign of leaks,no white from exhaust.and been pressure tested.any ideas before i pull the head off. atb.spudd

had this with mine. turned out to be a loose breather pipe on bulk head. atb.spudd

once on the move it is ok. now and again a bit notchy when changing gear.i have bled the system several times but must confess when i changed the slave cylinder i didnt blank the pipi and lost lots of fluid. spudd

anyone have experience of these. had one fitted to my td5 and it bites very early.has to be hard on the floor when selecting reverse.cant blame the mechanic as i supplied the clutch kit.i have tried bleeding. it has a new slave cylinder. clutch pedal is heavy. atb. spudd

Hi i have a k&n on my td5.when i bought a service kit i fitted the paper filter and it ran dead lumpy.having seen those pics think i should go back to paper except it runs awful. any tips please. atb.spudd

Hi all my td5 has started to slip the clutch now and again. been on another forum lots of talk of help and advice until it comes to the nitty gritty.so can anyone advise wether best to drop gearbox or remove engine.done it before on you r average joes car but never a 4x4. any genuine advice or help offered greatfully recieved. atb.spudd

may be a daft question.my headlights have been done.but would like to change the bumper is it a straight forward swop or is there welding etc involved. atb.spudd

i have had a jangling from my td5 since purchase. i think its coming from the transfer box.sounds like a bag of spanners.is there a repair or reccomended re conditioner. atb spudd

my 2000td5 maual 7 seater is running on 255/50/20 a/t. but i have no idea what the tyre pressure should be. can anyone help please. atb spudd

got a new blade off ebay £4.75. had local key cutter do his bit 4 quid. pulled out old blade removed plasic cap and fitted onto new blade and pushed back into fob.all works ok. atb.spudd

my td5 does the same droning noise when turning right.but have now discovered you cant hear it outside the car.leading me to the steering column. atb spudd

uk spec disco 2 gs.blade looks twisted could i get a replacement blade and use original fob.
